Discovery Dining
We delivered an Immersive Dining style experience for Discovery Destinations which was live in Orlando on the same week as IAAPA, hosted in a pop-up retail space in Pointe Orlando. This featured three walls of content that guests viewed from a dining table, giving the illusion of the media running from floor to ceiling for complete immersion, and even projected on to the table during some scenes.
Discovery invited key clients and prospective buyers to visit the demo space throughout the week, which also included other show pieces from Farbound, an experiential gaming company who takes scenes from TV, film and video games and brings them into the physical world through ‘gamified’ adventures.
Their target audience is museums, science centres, cruise ships and family entertainment experiences and although our demo was originally termed ‘immersive dining’, Discovery is seeing the partnership with Holovis as much more than that.
They are viewing us as their technology partner in their mission to make their content available in experiential settings and bringing it to life in the ‘fifth dimension’.
