Celebrating 360Golf
Holovis continues to deliver their highly successful 360Golf solutions across global locations, with their largest installation due to open in the GCC later this year.
Holovis 360Golf has re-invented the game of mini-golf as we know it - with seamless tracking and automated stroke-counting technology packed into the familiar golf balls, and next-generation gamification delivering a new level of engagement and in a fun-packed experience.
Guests register their team at self-service kiosks before receiving a ball assigned to each individual player. Teams then tee-off when sensors in the course recognise who is playing each turn and then bespoke technology in the balls automatically counts how many strokes have been taken. Special ‘supershot’ bonuses and penalties designed into each course add to the excitement and challenge – all automatically tracked with scores calculated by the proprietary network system and displayed on the course screens.
Holovis 360Golf has already been played by thousands of happy guests across the world, including at two Level X sites in the UK in Glasgow and Middlesborough. All of our installations are also constantly monitored by Holovis’ specialist real-time DeepSmarts data analytics system, providing operators with an easy-to-use dashboard showing user data including player volumes, game lengths and high scores, as well as operational data including course usage, uptime, scheduled maintenance reminders and course, hole and ball health and battery conditions.
Holovis are currently putting the final touches to two of the largest 360Golf courses they’ve ever built – the first of eleven opening across the GCC with installations starting later this year. Further details of these unique courses will be released as the rollout progresses, but Holovis promise the sheer scope and ambition of the course designs is unlike anything the game has seen before, with the balls travelling safely over 15ft in the air on certain holes!
Clients are able to choose from an extensive catalogue of existing designs, or the Holovis creative team can work closely with a client to create and design their own unique custom course specific to their venue, theming or even brand and IP as required.
Holovis Head of Products, James Lodder, commented that “360Golf is re-inventing the game! Our automated stroke counting technology combined with our exciting approach to gamification creates a really enjoyable competitive socialising experience for families and friends. Our installed courses are generating excellent returns for our clients. We’re excited to be first to market with next-gen features including dynamically reactive courses to improve accessibility for low skill players while challenging the pros!”.
